What:

The club will be hosting an event on Wednesday, July 1st, to celebrate Canada Day 2026. The club has applied for and received a grant from The Vancouver Foundation / Neighbourhood Small Grants, thus enabling us to provide this event at no cost to our members.

To celebrate, we have rented 8 courts at Hume Park. Courts for pickleball will be available for the duration of the event.

Starting at 12:30pm we will have a social gathering with food available for our members. Members are encouraged to come play, drop by to mingle, have a bite to eat and meet new members. Don’t forget to wear your best red outfit to celebrate Canada Day.

We will also have a paddle demo event. LUZZ Pickleball has graciously provided several paddles that our members can try during this event. A great way to test different paddle models in a real playing environment.

Time: 10:00am to 2:00pm
